About the beach

A rural sandy beach on the Portuguese bank of the Minho estuary, in Seixas, with transitional water that is calmer and more tidal than the open sea. It is a recreation and leisure area linked to outdoor sport, shared with traditional fishing, and is suitable for water sports such as windsurfing. The bathing season is short: in 2026 it ran from 27 June to 30 August.
