About the beach
River beach on the River Ceira, by Casal de Ermio, about six kilometres from Lousã, in a rural landscape. Designed with families in mind, it has lifeguard cover, a children's pool, a diving board, a picnic area, showers and a bar with a terrace; a wooden walkway over the river leads to the lawn. Pedal boats and canoes can be hired on site, and it holds the Accessible Beach award, with an amphibious chair.
