A beach of basalt pebbles and black sand in the parish of Canhas, between Ponta do Sol and Madalena do Mar, popular for its sunsets. It is reached via the Caminho dos Anjos and a wooden staircase, and wooden decks lead into the sea. In the bathing season there is a bar with terrace, toilets and parasols. Access to the nearby Cascata dos Anjos waterfall, which falls onto the old ER101 road, is prohibited because of rockfall risk.
