A beach between cliffs in Pataias, between Paredes da Vitória and Nazaré. The name comes from the cliffs, where erosion has opened small freshwater springs; there is a small waterfall. Two paths lead down, one more direct and one more winding, and Alcobaça council rates access as reasonable but steep. The sand is extensive but shifts with the sea. There is a bar, but no toilets or showers. The Estrada Atlântica cycle route passes the beach. It is not an official bathing water, so the water is not tested. The council lists lifeguard cover from 27 June to 30 August.
