About the beach
A beach beside a small fishing village with several restaurants, sheltered by cliffs bearing Jurassic dinosaur footprints; the site gave its name to the dinosaur Dinheirosaurus lourinhanensis. Usually calm, it gets busy in August during the Festa do Mar. It has a lifeguard, sunshade hire, showers, parking, a bar and a restaurant.
