Beach in Oeiras beside the Forte de São Bruno, completed in 1647, which shelters it and makes it more protected from the wind than its neighbours. It has a beach restaurant-bar, the Bahia Beach Club. It does not have a Blue Flag, and Oeiras council publishes bathing-water quality results, which are worth checking before swimming.
