About the beach
A long beach of about 600 metres in the parish of Água d'Alto, one of the most popular in the municipality of Vila Franca do Campo. It has parking, changing rooms, toilets, a bar and access for people with reduced mobility, with lifeguard supervision in the bathing season. It should not be confused with the nearby Prainha de Água d'Alto, a separate bathing area.
