About the beach
A small sandy beach sheltered between ravines, in the Caloura area, parish of Água de Pau, Lagoa municipality. The beach is about 150 m long and the open-sea bathing area has a sandy bottom with some rounded pebbles. It has parking and lifeguard/safety cover. A stream flows onto the beach and can wash material into the sea after heavy rain.
