About the beach

A long stretch of fine sand about 1 km in length, backed by a cliff that runs along it as far as Morro de Santana. Bathing is in open sea over a sandy bottom, and the beach is very popular with surfers and bodyboarders. It has toilets, changing rooms, showers, parking, a bar and a restaurant, lifeguard supervision and access for people with reduced mobility.
