About the beach
Bathing area on the Meimoa reservoir, a dam built in the late 1970s on the Meimoa stream, on land in the parish of Meimão. As well as the bathing area, with a floating pool on the water, it has a bar and bungalows to stay in, and is one of the water-sports spaces of the Penamacor Nautical Station. In the 2026 bathing season it was not listed as a lifeguarded beach.
