About the beach
River beach on the left bank of the River Côa, about 1 km from the village of Quadrazais, at the foot of the Serra da Malcata and upstream of the Sabugal dam. Surrounded by lawns with alder, ash and willow trees, it has a sandy area, two picnic areas, a bar with a terrace and covered parking, plus a boardwalk and a ramp for people with reduced mobility.
