About the beach

Bathing area created on the Tamolha stream, about 2 km from Várzea dos Cavaleiros, using a weir and restored schist walls. Opened in 2022, it has a sandy area with sunshades, lawns, toilets, a picnic area with barbecues and a bar with a terrace. It is a designated bathing water since 2026, but the official order does not provide for a lifeguard.
