About the beach

A bathing area on the Mondego next to the Quinta da Taberna picnic park, on the bank of a weir in Videmonte, within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. It is close to one of the entrances to the Mondego Boardwalks. In July 2025 bathing was prohibited from 10 to 12 July after a sample showed microbiological contamination.
