About the beach
River beach in a small valley on the Fróia stream, near Sobreira Formosa. It has a wide grassy promenade for towels, a sandy area, a playground and a children's pool. Facilities include a lifeguard, a restaurant and bar with a terrace, showers, access ramps and toilets for people with reduced mobility, a first-aid post and parking. Near the beach there is a circular walking trail and the Fróia Mountain Bike Centre.
