About the beach

A river beach on the right bank of the Douro, on the reservoir of the Saucelle dam by the Spanish border, within the Douro International Natural Park. It has a large lawn, a marked-off bathing area, a floating pool, a river pier, a bar, a restaurant and parking. Blue Flag in 2025 and a Praia Acessível. In 2025, bathing was advised against or prohibited for 18 days; check the notices on site.
