About the beach
A very long, little-frequented stretch of sand, separated from Nazaré by the harbour, with a wide dune system and cliffs used as a launch point for hang-gliding and paragliding. The sea is rough and offers good conditions for surfing and bodyboarding. It has lifeguards, parking, a bar and a restaurant, and is part of the Praia Acessível programme.
