About the beach

A long, narrow strip of sand in São João do Estoril, between Praia do Tamariz and Praia da Azarujinha, along the Paredão seafront promenade between Cascais and Estoril. Steps and a ramp lead down to the sand, and there is parking on top of the cliff. The water is usually calm, but there are many submerged rocks, especially at the western end. It is a lifeguarded bathing beach, with a 2026 bathing season from 1 May to 30 September. Water quality was rated Good in 2025.
