Praia de S. Pedro do Estoril is one of the most sheltered beaches on the Estoril coast — a contained sandy stretch partially protected by the adjacent headland, with direct access from the train line that runs between Lisbon and Cascais. Water quality is Excellent. The scale of the beach and its relatively quiet character are its main attributes — it lacks the size of Carcavelos and the activity of Estoril, but offers a quieter beach option on this densely served coast. The outlook across the bay of Cascais is one of the most pleasant along this section of the Linha.
