About the beach
A bathing area on the reservoir of the Vilar dam on the River Távora, with sand and woodland around it. It has a bar with a terrace, shaded areas, a picnic area with barbecues, toilets and showers, pedalos and a diving platform. The municipality highlights recreational angling and birdwatching; a campsite lies nearby, where the PR3 Rota do Távora walking trail begins.
