About the beach
On the right bank of the River Rabaçal at Possacos, about 8 km from Valpaços, this river beach has a long stretch of sand and wooden boardwalks down to the riverbed. It has a lifeguard in summer, a bar, a picnic area, a children's playground, showers and changing rooms, and sits next to the campsite. It is an Accessible Beach with an amphibious wheelchair; the river is also used for canoeing and angling.
