A small beach in central Cascais, between the marina and the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum, near the Santa Marta Lighthouse Museum, where the Mochos stream reaches the sea. Steps lead down from the avenue and it is a few minutes' walk from the railway station. The sand is small and best seen at low tide; at high tide many people jump into the water from the rocks. There are no facilities, toilets or showers. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
