Natural rock pool by the yacht club and quay in Lajes do Pico, with concrete access, a basalt-and-concrete sun deck and open-sea swimming over a basalt-slab seabed. According to the official bathing-water profile it has toilets, a bar and a leisure area, and it is very exposed to the swell. It is less than 1 km from the Maré bathing area. In 2026 it is a bathing water from 1 June to 30 September, with no guaranteed lifeguard cover under the Portaria. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
