The reference portal
for coastal travel
in Portugal.
Portugal Travel Hub combines premium editorial, real-time data and travel intent capture. A direct channel to the coastal traveller — before the booking decision, with no intermediaries and no OTA commissions.
An editorial portal with commercial purpose
Portugal Travel Hub is not a search engine or a marketplace. It is a reference platform combining three pillars to create the ideal partnership context.
Verified editorial content about beaches, surf, fishing and coastal experiences. No clickbait, no disguised sponsored lists. Every page reflects editorial quality criteria that build audience trust.
Surf conditions, live webcams, tides, wind and water temperature. The portal is a decision tool — not just inspiration. Users return regularly to check conditions before heading out.
The personalised planning form captures travel intent by region, experience and dates — before the booking decision. A direct channel to connect the qualified traveller with the right business, no intermediaries.
Who visits Portugal Travel Hub
The portal attracts traveller profiles with active coastal travel intent — not passive entertainment audiences.
Checks conditions daily, looks for verified schools and compares beaches by level. Strong intent to book lessons or equipment.
Researches tides, species and certified charters. Chooses destination based on conditions and reviews of local operators.
Plans weekend escapes or summer holidays. Needs safe beaches, accommodation and activities for all ages.
Researching Portugal as a surf or beach holiday destination. Needs reliable content about lesser-known regions.
Combines remote work with surf and nature. Seeks quality accommodation, local dining and connection to the coastal community.
Plans retreats, team building or coastal sporting events. Seeks verified experiences with group capacity.
Audience and traffic metrics available upon commercial enquiry. We share up-to-date performance data with partners during the proposal stage — we do not publish aggregate figures outside a commercial context.
Presence at the right moment, on the right page
Every placement exists in a high-intent context — the user is researching, planning or deciding. Not passively scrolling.
Your profile appears in a premium position on the beach pages for your region — above organic results, with photo, name, description and direct link.

Editorial criteria and quality standards
The portal's credibility depends on the quality of the partners we feature. Selection is manual — we do not accept every application.
Real and verifiable business
Active online presence — website, Google Maps or profile on a recognised platform. The business must exist and be independently discoverable.
Positive reviews (minimum 4.0)
Rating of 4.0 or above on relevant public platforms (Google, TripAdvisor). Authentic review history with no signs of manipulation.
Quality photographic material
At least one quality photo representative of the business and venue. The portal profile needs to show what the user will find.
Response within 48 hours
The partner commits to responding to requests or leads captured by the portal within 48 business hours. We do not manage expectations for users left without a response.
Service relevant to coastal tourism
Surf, fishing, coastal accommodation, seaside dining, watersports or nature. Businesses without a direct link to coastal tourism are not eligible.
This list protects the user experience and, consequently, the value of each partner's presence on the portal.
