Refund conditions for Portugal Travel Hub Pro subscriptions

1. Scope
This policy applies to all paid subscriptions to Portugal Travel Hub (Pro Subscription), offered at www.portalturismoportugal.com.
2. Nature of the service
Portugal Travel Hub Pro is a recurring digital subscription service that provides immediate access to online digital content — including editorial beach verifications, astronomical conditions, tide data for saved favourites, and premium site features. No physical goods are delivered.
3. General refund policy
Due to the digital and immediately accessible nature of the service, Portugal Travel Hub does not offer refunds after a subscription has been activated, except in the cases specifically described in this policy or where required by applicable law.
4. Right of withdrawal (EU)
Under Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers resident in the European Union have the right to a 14-day withdrawal period after the contract is concluded.
This right may be exercised unless the consumer has expressly consented to the start of digital content delivery before the end of this period, thereby waiving the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 17(1)(m) of the same Decree-Law.
5. Situations that qualify for a refund
We accept refund requests in the following situations:
- · A technical error on our side that prevents access to the Pro service
- · A duplicate charge for the same subscription
- · A serious service failure not resolved within a reasonable time after being reported
- · Situations where applicable law requires it
6. Situations that do not qualify for a refund
Refund requests are not accepted in the following cases:
- · Change of mind after accessing Pro content
- · Non-use of an active subscription
- · Automatic monthly or annual renewals (see Cancellation section)
- · Incompatibility with the user's specific devices or browsers
- · Internet connectivity issues on the user's side
7. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account area. After cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the period already paid for; no proportional refund is issued for the remaining time. The subscription will not renew in the next cycle.
8. How to request a refund
Refund requests must be submitted via the contact form or by email to [email protected], including:
- · The email address associated with your Pro account
- · The date and reference of the transaction
- · The reason for the request
Qualifying requests are processed within 14 business days via the original payment method. Requests that fall outside the above criteria may be assessed on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantee of approval.
9. Dispute resolution
In the event of a consumer dispute, you may contact the National Centre for Information and Arbitration of Consumer Conflicts (www.cniacc.pt) or the alternative dispute resolution body competent for your region.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy periodically. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the last updated date indicated at the top.
